Yet in the interior of the district, the villages tucked among fields and olive groves are also worth visiting. Barbaros and Bademler are two familiar names on this route. The village roads are narrow, the stops are scattered and the signposts are few; going with a chauffeur takes the burden of navigation off your shoulders and gives you the freedom to stop and look by the roadside.

Why a chauffeur for a village route?

On village roads, satnav sometimes leads you astray, and some lanes are too narrow for a car. A driver who knows the local roads, and which one is easier at which hour, keeps the day flowing. If you plan to enjoy a glass of wine with dinner, not having to drive back yourself is another comfort.

Do not think of these routes only as a transfer; the real aim is to slow down. Drinking tea in a village square, looking at the olive trees by the roadside and stopping for photographs are a natural part of the plan.

Barbaros: a quiet village road

Barbaros is a settlement a short drive from central Urla that has kept its rural feel. The aim here is not to visit a single famous spot but to see the texture of the village. Stone walls, gardens and narrow lanes are better understood on foot. Leaving the car at the village entrance and walking around is often the best approach.

For timing, late morning or early afternoon is comfortable in terms of both light and temperature. In summer, walking along the village road in the midday heat can be tiring.

Bademler: vineyard and olive grove views

Bademler is one of the areas that show Urla’s vineyard and olive culture in a rural setting. The fields on either side of the road change colour with the season: green in spring, yellow in summer, and in autumn a palette in which the vine leaves turn red. So even touring the same route in two different seasons can be a different experience.

If you would like to combine it with stops on the wine route, you can also look at our Urla Wine Route guide. In spring the fields are green and the weather suits walking; in summer the midday hours are hot, so it is better to shift the day to the morning or late afternoon. In autumn the light softens, and in winter the villages go quiet and some small businesses may keep shorter hours. In winter and wet spells, listen to the driver’s advice before entering dirt roads; that means a more comfortable day for both the car and the passengers.

What to expect between villages

Urla’s village roads are narrow and winding in places. Times can be given approximately, but in practice they vary with the number of stops and with tractors, flocks or pedestrians on the road. On this route it is better to leave a margin of an hour and a half to two hours than to squeeze the schedule. Packing the route too tightly spoils the slow pace that is the real charm of the villages.

There is also the matter of communication: mobile signal in the villages and on the vineyard roads can occasionally be weak. Settling the meeting and return times beforehand removes this kind of hitch. Returning to central Urla at the end of the day and having dinner there is an easy way to close the village route comfortably; if you plan it from the start, you will not feel rushed at the end of the day.

What to share for a quote

The route duration, number of passengers and starting point affect the price. The price is sent in writing via WhatsApp before the journey; your booking is confirmed once you approve the quote. Waiting terms during the day are also set out in the quote, so it helps to tell us beforehand how long you wish to stay at each stop.

For groups or couples who wish to tour the villages along with the wine route, take a look at the Urla wine route tour; for a more flexible day, the chauffeur service page; or request a quote directly.

"h1":8
"urla-koy-rotalari-barbaros-bademler","urla-village-routes-barbaros-bademler",[27,30
Urla Wine Route - Visit Urla","https://visiturla.com/rotalar/urla-bag-yolu/
Urla travel guide - Oggusto","https://www.oggusto.com/seyahat/yurtici/urla-seyahat-rehberi",[34,35],"urla-bag-yolu-turu","urla-soforlu-arac-kiralama",[37,38],"urla-bag-yolu","urla-sanat-ve-gastronomi",5,[41,46
"/en/services/urla-wine-route-tour/","Wine Route Tour","Visit the vineyards and wineries of the Urla Wine Route (Bağ Yolu) by chauffeur-driven car, with no need to drive.","grape
"/en/services/urla-chauffeur-service/","Chauffeur Service","Hourly or daily use of a vehicle reserved for you with its chauffeur, for a flexible programme in and around Urla.","clock",[52,58
"/en/routes/urla-wine-route/","Urla Wine Route (Bağ Yolu)","A day route with tastings, from the vineyards around Kuşçular to the villages of Barbaros and Bademler.","route","Wine Route · Half day (approximately 4 hours) or full day (approximately 8 hours)
"/en/routes/urla-art-and-gastronomy/","Urla Art and Gastronomy Route","A cultural route covering Art Street, the Köstem Olive Oil Museum, Klazomenai and gastronomy stops.","Art & Gastronomy · Half day","klazomenai",[65,71,76
"/en/guide/urla-food-route-transport-planning/","How to plan transport on the Urla gastronomy route","Tips for easier transport when you combine food, olive oil and vineyard stops in a single day.","book","Planning
"/en/guide/urla-wine-route-planning-with-driver/","Urla Wine Route (Bağ Yolu): a guide to planning a day with a chauffeur","A planning guide to the Wine Route covering stops, bookings, seasons and sample itineraries.","Wine Route
"/en/guide/urla-art-street-day-trip-plan/","A day trip around Urla Art Street (Sanat Sokağı) and its surroundings","A relaxed-pace Urla day built around Sanat Sokağı, İskele and the nearby stops.","Art",[82,95],{"@type":83
BreadcrumbList",[85,89,92],{"@type":86
"ListItem",1,"https://urlaviptransfer.com/en/",{"@type":86
2,"https://urlaviptransfer.com/en/guide/",{"@type":86
3,"https://urlaviptransfer.com/en/guide/urla-village-routes-barbaros-bademler/",{"@type":96,"@id":97
"BlogPosting","https://urlaviptransfer.com/en/guide/urla-village-routes-barbaros-bademler/#article","en","https://urlaviptransfer.com/img/hero-1600.jpg",{"@type":101
Organization","Kıyı Ege Editorial Team","https://urlaviptransfer.com/en/about/",{"@id":105},"https://urlaviptransfer.com/#org",[29,32],"post:urla-koy-rotalari-barbaros-bademler
/tr/rehber/urla-koy-rotalari-barbaros-bademler/",[111,98],"tr",1793971912195]
